What's the weather been like where you live? Many of us in the UK are feeling the cold! It's been snowing in many areas ... great fun for the young and the young at heart 😊 but if you are out driving or just walking care should be taken. Both the images I've used are from a few years ago, they always make me smile.

I'm also smiling at the thought of a warming vegetable stew. Stews are not all about meat! With this versatile vegetable stew; you can add any veg you like. Just add root veg and squash at the beginning, green veg towards the end and frozen peas or sweetcorn at the last minute. Adding baked beans adds a little sweetness, plus fibre and protein.
